This field allows him to combine his passions into his daily life. Throughout his journey, he became more aware of the physical and mental disabilities that many people face, motivating him to alleviate suffering and embrace the role of a healer rather than just a fixer. Before pursuing his degree in physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia, James worked for several years as a kinesiologist and rehabilitation assistant. A significant part of his approach is empowering clients to take charge of their healing. He educates them on how to be their own therapists by utilizing corrective exercises, movement retraining, and self-management strategies. He also incorporates manual therapy, acupuncture, and electrotherapy when appropriate. James has extensive experience working with the elderly, having spent several years in long-term care and providing home visits.
