Matthew studied at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan, and graduated with Distinction from the Canadian School of Osteopathy. His extensive knowledge spans biomechanical movement, human patterning, and neurodevelopmental sequencing, and he has a deep passion for working with babies and infants. Matthew’s osteopathic skill set goes beyond
movement, extending into digestive health, cranial-sacral work, anxiety and depression, ADHD, and fluid and energetic approaches. Matthew is also a seasoned professional in the field of Kinesiology, with over a decade of experience working with a wide range of clients. From athletes and individuals with disabilities
to those recovering from accidents or living with conditions such as cancer, digestive concerns,
migraines, cardiovascular disease, or respiratory concerns.
Matthew’s approach to therapy is unique in that he rekindles a sense of play while facilitating
conscious movement patterns. Through this process, he helps clients improve their quality of life, return to work, participate in sports, and enjoy the activities they love.
At the heart of Matthew’s practice is a person-centred philosophy: to be “who he needed when he was younger.” This belief ensures that every individual receives thoughtful, personalized care aligned with their unique goals. Matthew continues to refine his skills through ongoing education, including Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization and advanced Osteopathic
coursework, sharpening his palpatory and sensory abilities to help clients transition from the table to the floor, to standing all without pain.
Beyond the clinic walls, Matthew is on a personal journey of growth and curiosity. Having overcome six knee surgeries, seven concussions, and a broken shoulder from his days as a high-level soccer and lacrosse player, he has found new ways to move and play. While competitive sports chapters have closed, you’ll now find him enjoying golf and badminton. You might just see him practicing his swing before your appointment; make sure to interrupt him. Matthew keeps his youthful spirit alive through adventurous LEGO builds, creative time in the kitchen (you may
even get to taste his latest creation), and a love for reading, sauna sessions, and exploring new
foods.

James grew up with a strong interest in physical activity, mechanics, and fixing things, which naturally led him to a career in physiotherapy. This field allows him to combine his passions into his daily life. Throughout his journey, he became more aware of the physical and mental disabilities that many people face, motivating him to alleviate suffering and embrace the role of a healer rather than just a fixer. Before pursuing his degree in physiotherapy at the University of British Columbia, James worked for several years as a kinesiologist and rehabilitation assistant. A significant part of his approach is empowering clients to take charge of their healing. He educates them on how to be their own therapists by utilizing corrective exercises, movement retraining, and self-management strategies. He also incorporates manual therapy, acupuncture, and electrotherapy when appropriate. James has extensive experience working with the elderly, having spent several years in long-term care and providing home visits. In addition to this specialization, he is skilled in treating a diverse range of conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological or developmental disorders.
